So this week ... Just For Today ... you are asked to focus.
Do you ever wonder what it would be like if you placed all your attention on one thing at a time? One aspect of one thing? With all you have pondered to achieve in the months ahead, choose one idea, and then, one part of that one idea, and have this the focus of your day -- today. As you go about work or the search thereof, focus on that one next step of the project you are working, of the person who said they would introduce you to a contact. For the next 24 hours experience the joy, the clarity, of focus. It is here, in focus, solutions, answers, even next steps reside.
During this day, when something comes up to pull you away, just for the next 24 hours, let yourself say "That can wait. This, where I am, is what is important -- NOW!" Like Elsa standing in her ice castle, from the movie "Frozen," sing, "Let it go!" If you must address the diversion, do so expediently to move it from your awareness, returning as quickly as possible to that which deserves your focus just for this day. (Note: The distraction, if important, will be there tomorrow, trust me.)
Focus - An activity that enables us to feel the integration of our senses, our abilities, our being, to bring us another step along the way to that which we desire to succeed.
