The change in a calendar year is but a moment. In a second we move from 2014 to 2015, and it is done. It is our perspective of this moment that lingers, that grows.
Questions abound . . .
In this moment do you join your years together? Do you disconnect the past from the future? With your response, what do you feel? Laments for what has passed? Yearning for what might be?
This time, so long representative of renewal, is it truly renewal? Or, just maybe, is the change from year to year a time for subtle shifting in the ways we journey through our life? Is that second of change from New Year's Eve to New Year's day a time where you pause to see where a path, your path yet taken, truly lies?
It is said the living of your life is a unique road. The unique road you may have strayed from as it was unclear, instead moving down paths others have previously walked because:
- The way was clearer
- Others stated it the "right" path
- It was safe
So pause this moment and reflect on all that has brought you to this point as 2015 begins to waken, and look what is around you in this moment. Take into your Self what feels "right" about this moment, and step into this New Year with a sense of exploration for what is ahead for you, with trust of your Self. Your Path. And what discoveries await you.
