Miserliness; Unkindness, spitefulness, or unfairness; Aggressive character;
Viciousness.; Lack of quality or attractiveness; Shabbiness.
When meanness confronts you, simply pause and observe. If you are the source, cease further derogation. If it is in a conversation look for a door to learning from instead of tearing down. If out of your scope, again simply observe.
